Cheyanne Pyle joined the school photography industry in 2023, bringing with her nearly a decade of photography and customer service experience along with a professional background in IT. With a knack for creative problem solving and a wealth of diverse knowledge, she contributes a unique perspective to every project she undertakes.



Cheyanne holds an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, where she majored in Sculpture, Printmaking, and Portraiture. Her work has been featured in multiple exhibitions, including juried shows in Thunder Bay. In 2018, her print Bon Appétit earned the Lakehead University Dean of Social Sciences and Humanities Award at the Visual Arts Department Juried Exhibition. In 2019, she expanded her artistic practice internationally during an artist residency at Shankill Castle in County Kilkenny, Ireland. Specializing in photo-realistic portraiture, Cheyanne also continues to explore sculpture and printmaking.


Beyond her professional and artistic pursuits, Cheyanne is deeply involved in her community. Since 2011, she has volunteered with the Chesterville & District Agricultural Society, where she currently serves as Director of Social Media, Marketing, and Photography. She is also a co-founder of Capital City Throwing, a knife and axe throwing community, where she applies her expertise in social media, marketing, and photography to help build and promote the organization.


Outside of work, Cheyanne enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, especially making preserves and hot sauces from her garden harvests. She’s also a self-proclaimed nerd, with passions for both PC & Console gaming, Dungeons & Dragons, and axe and knife throwing.
